What’s better than talking policy and politics over breakfast and coffee? VBSR kicks off the start of the new legislative session with this morning of networking and conversations between socially responsible business owners and Vermont legislators.

After breakfast, members of VBSR’s Public Policy Committee will announce the organization’s 2017 legislative agenda. Rep. Helen Head, the chair of the House, General, Housing, and Military Affairs Committee will also be awarded VBSR’s 2016 Legislator of the Year award for her work on issues such as Earned Paid Leave and Ban the Box.

Additionally, Senate president-elect Tim Ashe will be addressing the crowd.

VBSR members are encouraged to stay for the organization’s brief Annual Meeting for an update on our 2016 activities.

This event is free for VBSR members, Vermont legislators, and state officials; $10 for non-members. More than 120 people attended last year – don’t miss this event!
