VBSR is pleased to honor Paul Millman, co-founder of Chroma Technology, at the 15th Annual Terry Ehrich Award Ceremony and Dinner, one of our largest and most festive events of the year. In a nod to Paul’s dedication to employee ownership and community, this year’s celebration will be held at Barre’s Old Labor Hall, a National Historical Landmark with a rich history of supporting workers’ rights and community-supported businesses. 2016 Recipient: Paul Millman, Co-Founder, Chroma Technology

Paul MIllman is CEO and president of Chroma Technology Corp., an employee-owned manufacturing company in Bellows Falls, Vermont. He attended Antioch College and is a graduate of the New School and Antioch New England Graduate School. He is a director of the Vermont Business Roundtable and Valley Net. He is a member of the Steering Committee of ReThink Health in the Upper Valley and president of the Westminster Fire and Rescue Association. He is a former director of Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility and former chair of the Vermont Employee Ownership Center. Prior to moving to Vermont he worked as a bartender in New York City. He hopes to return to that profession when his days as a business big shot are over.

About the Terry Ehrich Award

In 2002, Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility began honoring Vermont's outstanding practitioners of social responsibility in business in fond memory of late VBSR board member, Terry Ehrich. Terry was genuinely concerned about the well-being of his employees, generous with his time as a friend and concerned citizen, and successful with his business, Hemmings Motor News. He also started the First Day Foundation to encourage greater parental involvement in public education.The Terry Ehrich Award for Excellence in Socially Responsible Business is given annually to a person exemplifying Terry Ehrich’s sustained commitment to the environment, workplace, progressive public policy, and community. Parking

We encourage carpooling! Those who need parking will find metered parking spaces all along Enterprise Alley and Metro Way. There's also lot by Capstone Community Action, street parking all along Granite Street, and a lot across the street from the Old Labor Hall. We'll have signs directing you!
