Biomass is a remarkable renewable resource for heating in the Northeast. This program is intended to help those considering biomass build a reasonable framework for further research. The session will discuss how a variety of biomass heating appliances work, what they use for fuel and how it is graded or certified, what ranges of equipment are available in the Northeast today, and how you might decide what systems are best for applications in which you might have interest.
